A Year in Review

As we look forward to 2020, we pause to reflect on all the growth, change and achievement 2019 has brought to Noble’s Pond. This past year has been a blast, and we so fortunate to have a community full of generous, active adults who turn opportunity into experience.

Early this year we opened our new Fitness Center, complete with state-of-the-art gym equipment. Here homeowners gather for exercise classes, personal training and wellness seminars in a continuous effort to maintain or improve their health. Along with other great amenities, like an outdoor pool with an Olympic-size lap lane, Tennis Courts, Clubhouse and Walking Trails, our Fitness Center is a great resource for making the most of each day.

As winter melted into spring, our Lady Bug Garden Club took a trip to the Philadelphia Flower Show for some garden inspiration. They brought back their plant knowledge and creativity to our Garden Beds, patios and common areas to help make our community beautiful in all seasons.

In the summer months, homeowners could be found enjoying lemonade and iced tea on their front porch or in their 4-seasons room, an option within our award-winning floor plans. We also held a special ceremony to install a POW-MIA Chair of Honor in front of our Clubhouse. We are fortunate to have a strong military presence in our community, with each branch – Air Force, Navy, Army, Coast Guard and Marines – represented.

Fall was a busy time. Our travel group, led by Lifestyle Director Colleen Ostafy, packed their bags for a trip to Italy and the Amalfi Coast. They ate, drank, shopped, snapped selfies and immersed themselves in Italian culture before returning to Delaware. From Halloween parties and parades to cooking a Thanksgiving potluck dinner, Noble’s Ponders geared up for the season of giving.

During this holiday season our community has risen to the challenge of focusing on what matters – helping others. Hosting the Festival of Trees, collecting gifts for Toys for Tots, gathering Legos for Joey’s Tree, caroling at a local nursing homes and donating gifts for children in need are just some of the ways we give back.

As 2019 comes to a close, we can’t help but smile when looking back on all we have accomplished. We are lucky to be a community of more than just neighbors – we are friends, travel companions and fellow vets who love to celebrate, pursue passions and broaden our horizons. We can’t wait to see what opportunities 2020 will bring and hope to see you there!
