Looking Ahead: Homeowner Event Calendar is Planned & Growing

Colleen, Noble’s Pond’s award-winning Lifestyle Director, always plans fun and entertaining events for our homeowners, and this year is no different! There are already many events planned at the community, some local, some far, but all are guaranteed a great time with fellow neighbors and memories that will last a lifetime.

January and February

In true Noble’s Pond style, we started the year off with laughter and camaraderie! We hosted a Ladies Night of Comedy with Missy as well as the ever-popular Night at the Races event at the Noble’s Pond Clubhouse.

March

We start the month off with our popular annual Chili Cook-Off event on March 5. Homeowners create their secret recipes for people to sample and vote on their favorite. There are plans to also celebrate St. Patrick’s Day on March 19 with a dinner and dance. If there’s one thing our homeowners love, it’s a party! We’ll also be hosting the ever-popular BINGO event on March 25 where the gaming competition is fierce. Immediately following, our Veterans will gather on March 26 for their Pancake Breakfast. To round out the month and with safety top of mind, we also are offering CPR courses on March 29 and 31.

April

It is ladies versus gentlemen, and this is no April Fool’s joke in our Battle of the Sexes Trivia on April 1. Homeowners will bring their smarts and can grab food from Crazy Ricks’ food truck before the battle. We again bring back the BINGO competition on April 22 and close out the month with tons of belly laughs courtesy of the Community Comedy Cabaret. There will be four comedians who will give it their all and receive loads of laughter in return.

May

If you love a good dinner murder mystery, then you will be sure to love the “Sock Hop Homicide” by the Ovation Dinner Theater on May 20. Homeowners are sure to enjoy delicious food from the Skyline Café while trying to solve whodunit. There’s also one last chance to win at BINGO on May 27, so if they haven’t won yet, interested homeowners get another shot to become one of the lucky winners for the season!

June

We officially kick off summer in June with a Mediterranean Cruise planned for June 3 through June 12. We then bring back the ever-popular Funsters for an Outdoor Dance Party by the pool on June 18 to officially kick off summer. Our homeowners love dancing to the Funsters’ music and having a good ol’ time. There’s also the opportunity to try a new food truck the following week by stopping by on June 22 to try out Army of 2. We close out the month of June with our Family Fun Day on June 25. This is always a fun day with the grandchildren running around and enjoying lots of quality time with loved ones.

July through September

The summer months are a bit quieter, but after celebrating Independence Day, homeowners prepare to head out along a Kuztown Folk Festival Bus Trip for the day on July 7.  Then from September 7 to September 22, interested homeowners pack their bags and passports to experience the spectacular views that Sicily offers as they travel through the city.

October

It’s back on the bus again on October 2 as homeowners head down to Charleston and Savannah to see the old southern charm and enjoy mouthwatering delights from local restaurants. There is a trip to Iceland planned beginning October 17. Homeowners will travel overseas to this wonderful country where they can experience The Northern Lights and see the natural wonders that are native here. We close out the month with our ever-popular Girls Night Out to Fight MS event planned for October 22. Tickets go on sale for this event in July and always sell out fast! So far, the event has raised more than $160,000 to date.

November

The fall is the perfect time for our homeowners to head down to the Biltmore in early November to take in this 800-acre historic estate in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Asheville, NC.  They will experience the history, architecture, decorated gardens, and grounds, among other sights on the property. We also will have our annual Veteran’s Day Celebration on November 11. Each year our Quilters of Noble’s Pond group creates quilts for Quilts of Valor, to award a Service Member or Veteran.

December

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and several homeowners plan to head to Lancaster for a quick overnight trip in early December to see the town beautifully decorated for the holidays. They return just in time for the Holiday Dinner Dance to close out the year with a festive holiday soiree.

As you can see, there are already so many events to look forward to this year – and this list will continue to grow! This active event calendar is just one of the many reasons homeowners have decided to call this community home. To learn even more about the many events planned, check out the community’s event calendar, or contact our Online Sales Specialist to learn about how you can join us for an event taking place at Noble’s Pond at 302-204-4150.
