Homeowners Embrace Spring and Summer with Clubs, Activities, and Events
At Noble’s Pond, there is always something to do, a club/group to join, and many activities that keep homeowners busy having fun and living life to the fullest! As the weather warms up and flowers start to bloom, homeowners are ready to get out there and start enjoying the sunshine and warmer weather!
The Ladybug Garden Club had a busy day earlier this spring with a planting event at the Community Gardens. There are more than 22 plots reserved by homeowners who like to grow everything from flowers to strawberries and everything in-between! The gardens are one of the many amenities in the community that our homeowners love.
The DSW Group (Divorced, Single & Widow/Widower) is set to enjoy a Chesapeake City Water Tour this month to catch some of the most scenic views the bay has to offer! They also get together monthly to take part in activities from dinners, local trips, theater, and more.
Bocce is one of the most popular sporting groups in the community. With 30 teams presently, the season is off to a good start! This sport is so popular because not only is it ideal for all skill levels, but it’s also a great social activity to play with friends and meet new neighbors—or future competitors!
Events are always something our homeowners look forward to now and throughout the entire year. They recently took part in an Ovation Dinner Theater complete with a sock hop homicide theme. More than 100 homeowners joined in on the fun, whether dressing up in character or helping to solve the “who done it” mystery.
The community is also excited to welcome the summer trip season, starting with a Mediterranean Cruise where homeowners will see the breathtaking sights of Barcelona, Spain, France, and Italy! With international travel starting up again, all are excited to get out there and see the world.
When they travel back to Noble’s Pond, they will also enjoy a concert by the ever-popular Funsters rock and soul band by the Clubhouse pool. Homeowners boogied down last year to their 10-piece band’s captivating music while sharing some laughs.
During the summer, the pool is the best spot to be. It’s where homeowners gather to be social, attend parties and events and also eat classic summer grilled go-to’s like hot dogs and hamburgers. Sunday grilling is one of the reasons to stop by the pool and grab a bite to eat after a dip in the pool.
It’s also the spot where the Family Fun Day will be held, an event where grandkids and grandparents can build memories. They can take part in a water balloon toss, dance contest, or show off their hula hoop skills.
